Cambodia,Kampuchea or Srok Khmer (for Khmer) is populated about 15 million inhabitants and constituted by 24 provinces and 4 municipalities of provincial status.
Cambodia has common borders with:
- Thaïlande :On the West and in the northwest

Cambodia has a surface of 181 035km ², is a country of plains and trays.
This flat country is widely irrigated by the
Mekong which is a river, long from 4 350 to 4 909 km (the tenth of the world).
When the river of the Mekong reaches Phnom Penh (the capital),it is joined by the river Tonle 120 kilometers long .During the monsoon, the river is so powerful as, when it meets the river Tonle, it inverts the course of the river which pours then in the lake of Tonle Sap, so reducing the risks of flood.
The
Tonle Sap has the surface of 2590 km ², in dry season and 13.000 km2 during the rainy season, with the depth which can reach 8-10 meters, 70 % of waters of the lake result from Mekong.
Tonle Sap is
the biggest lake of fresh water of Southeast Asia.
Khmer religion
The main religion of Cambodia is the
Buddhism.
The bonzes teach to the children the Khmer language and are respected and worshipped by Cambodians.
Every morning, the bonzes start for take their food.
They live in vat ( pagoda). They wear one yellow suit(costume) (sbang in Khmer), have the head, the chin and the shaved eyebrows.
(In Central Asia and in the Tibet, the bonzes carry clothes brown-red).
They can eat only and before midday one time a day .

The international monetary Fund (IMF) has estimated that in 2011, the economy of Cambodia could reach between 6.5% and 7%, despite the serious financial crisis in the world.
